Retro Wooden Portable Speaker

The Edifier M230 is a brown wooden Bluetooth 5.0 speaker rated at 20W output. It runs from a built-in battery and also accepts USB, AUX and TF card sources. A single enclosure delivers a 2.0 stereo sound field with a frequency range of 75Hz-20KHz. CE certification is included.

Suits Personal Listening and Travel

Buyers wanting a compact wireless speaker for music, podcasts or calls on the move will find the battery operation and Bluetooth 5.0 convenient. The integrated microphone supports hands-free use. Users who need multi-room audio, app-based EQ control or a display screen should look elsewhere. The cabinet is not waterproof despite the listing claim.

20W Output with Battery Headroom

The 20W amplifier drives the full-range drivers comfortably at moderate indoor volumes and outdoor background levels. At higher volumes the 75Hz low-frequency limit means deep bass is not reproduced. Input power spans 50-99W, giving headroom for peaks without clipping. Extended high-volume sessions will reduce battery runtime.
