Edifier QS30-Black portable speaker

Compact desktop soundbar with light effects

The Edifier QS30 is a tabletop Bluetooth speaker designed to sit beneath a monitor. Dual 2-inch full-range drivers in separate cavities produce 5 W RMS total output, while symmetric bass reflex ports reinforce low frequencies. Silicone foot-pads angle the baffle toward ear level for clearer projection. A USB cable supplies both power and audio streaming from a computer.

Buyers wanting simple stereo upgrade for desk use

This unit suits anyone who needs a small powered speaker for music, video calls or casual gaming at a workstation. The integrated halo lighting offers seven preset patterns plus app-based customisation for ambient effect. It is not intended for users who require room-filling volume, deep sub-bass extension or multi-room wireless audio.

5 W RMS output for near-field listening

At 2.5 W per channel the soundbar comfortably handles desktop content such as podcasts, streaming video and background music at typical listening distances. Bass reflex tuning adds weight to rhythm tracks, but the enclosure size limits maximum SPL and low-frequency reach. For larger spaces or critical listening a separate amplifier and passive speakers would be necessary.
