Edifier S1000W wireless bookshelf system

The Edifier S1000W is a pair of active wireless bookshelf speakers delivering 120 W of total power. Each cabinet houses a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter and a 5.5-inch aluminium bass driver angled for optimal acoustics. A built-in Class-D amplifier and digital signal processing handle all amplification internally. The system is designed for listeners who want high-resolution audio without separate components.

Ideal for streamers wanting multi-room audio

These speakers suit anyone who wants to stream music wirelessly through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 5.2 using Apple AirPlay 2, Amazon Alexa, TIDAL Connect or Spotify Connect. The Edifier Home app enables quick setup and multi-room synchronisation across compatible rooms. Buyers who need passive speakers for an existing amplifier, or who require wired digital inputs for a surround system, should look elsewhere.

120 W built-in amplification decides the use case

The integrated 120 W Class-D amplifier means no external receiver or power amp is required — just connect power and stream. This all-in-one design simplifies placement but removes the option to upgrade amplification separately. If your system planning depends on a separate amplifier, these speakers will not fit that architecture.

Questions about this item

Do I need a Wi-Fi network at home for the S1000W to stream high-resolution audio via AirPlay 2 or Spotify Connect?

Yes, a local Wi-Fi network is required for AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect and multi-room features; Bluetooth 5.2 works directly without Wi-Fi.

How can I confirm the S1000W is delivering its full 120 W after setup?

Play a demanding track at high volume — the 1-inch titanium dome tweeters and 5.5-inch aluminium bass drivers should produce clean, room-filling sound without distortion.
