Edifier STAX Spirit S3 Wireless Planar Magnetic

The Edifier STAX Spirit S3 is a wireless planar magnetic headphone designed for audiophiles, home listening, and studio use. It delivers Hi-Res audio with cleaner sound, greater resolution, and better imaging powered by a proprietary audio system. An ultra-wide frequency response extends from 10Hz to 40kHz.

Battery life and connectivity headroom

A built-in 1500mAh battery provides up to 80 hours of playback for uninterrupted music enjoyment. The headphone pairs with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, allowing effortless switching between music, gaming, or phone calls. A 3.5mm AUX cable is also included for wired premium sound quality.

Snapdragon Sound and USB-C practical limits

Snapdragon Sound enables high-definition wireless audio over Bluetooth. Qualcomm aptX Voice technology improves the signal-to-noise ratio for 32kHz voice call quality. The USB Type-C interface handles charging and wired digital audio. The headphone does not support multi-point pairing beyond two devices or active noise cancellation.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm AUX cable work with my older amplifier that only has a standard headphone jack?

Yes, the included 3.5 mm AUX cable connects the headphone directly to any device with a matching jack, giving you the same planar magnetic sound without using Bluetooth.

How can I confirm the headphone is delivering its full 10 Hz to 40 kHz frequency range after I set it up?

Play a high-resolution test sweep or a familiar Hi-Res track; you should hear clean sub-bass extension down to the lowest notes and detailed treble up to the highest harmonics without distortion.

Does the box include a USB-C charging cable and the 3.5 mm AUX cable, or do I need to buy either separately?

Both cables are supplied in the box — a USB Type-C cable for charging the 1500 mAh battery and a 3.5 mm AUX cable for wired listening — so no extra purchase is required.
