Audiophile Planar Headphones

The Edifier STAX Spirit S3 uses planar magnetic drivers to deliver Hi-Res certified audio across a 10Hz to 40kHz frequency range. They are built for listeners who want detailed imaging and clean low-frequency response without electrostatic designs. The closed-back form factor suits home and studio monitoring alike.

Wireless Snapdragon Sound

A Qualcomm QCC5141 chipset enables Snapdragon Sound for ultra-low latency streaming when the source device supports it. An included Aux-in cable provides the same audio quality for devices without that capability. The microphone system processes voice for clear calls in quiet environments.

App-Tuned Comfort

The companion app lets you adjust sound profiles to match personal preference or source material. Ear pads and headband padding are shaped for extended sessions without pressure points. Folding hinges reduce the footprint when the headphones are stored or transported.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the headphones with the Edifier app and enable Snapdragon Sound on my phone?

Enable Bluetooth on your device, open the Edifier Connect app and follow the pairing wizard; Snapdragon Sound activates automatically if your phone supports it.

What parts will need replacement after long-term use?

The ear-pad leatherette and headband cushion are the only wear items; replace them when the seal degrades or the material cracks.

At what frequency does the driver response stop extending under continuous playback?

The planar magnetic drivers are rated to 40 kHz; that upper limit is the first boundary reached during sustained high-resolution listening.
