Edifier W800BT Pro Hybrid ANC Headphones

The Edifier W800BT Pro is a new over-ear wireless headphone with hybrid active noise cancellation rated to -44 dB. It uses Bluetooth 5.4 for stable connectivity and a 40 mm dynamic driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm. The folded weight is 0.25 kg and the grey finish suits daily commuting or office use.

Suits listeners who want long wireless playtime

Up to 45 hours of playback are available with ANC off, and a ten-minute charge returns roughly eight hours of use. Dual-device pairing lets you stay connected to a phone and a laptop simultaneously. AI call-noise reduction keeps voices intelligible in busy environments. Buyers who need higher noise-cancellation depth or longer maximum battery life should consider other models.

The deciding spec is the -44 dB hybrid ANC depth

This figure defines how much ambient sound the headphones can actively suppress across a broad frequency range. If your environment demands deeper isolation, you will need a model with a higher dB rating. If -44 dB matches your typical noise floor, the W800BT Pro delivers the specified performance with 32 ohm impedance and USB-C charging.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-millimetre driver unit or ear pads need replacement after heavy use?

The 40-millimetre dynamic driver is built into the sealed over-ear enclosure; only the ear pads are user-replaceable if they wear out.

What limits continuous playback before the battery needs recharging?

Up to 45 hours of music playback with ANC off, or less with ANC on, then a recharge is required.

How much heat or noise does the headset produce during all-day Bluetooth 5.4 use?

Passive over-ear design generates no fan noise or noticeable heat; only the ANC circuit adds a faint hiss in quiet rooms.
