Hi-Res Audio certified 40 mm drivers

The Edifier W820NB is a wireless over-ear headphone certified for Hi-Res Audio. Its 40 mm dynamic drivers reproduce detailed sound with support for the SBC codec. The model suits commuters and office workers who want long battery life and hybrid active noise cancellation in a single package. It is less suited for listeners who require lossless Bluetooth codecs or wired high-resolution playback.

Hybrid ANC with ambient and game modes

Hybrid active noise cancellation reduces external sound so you hear music and calls clearly. An ambient sound mode lets outside noise pass through when you need awareness. A dedicated game mode lowers wireless latency for more responsive play. Battery life reaches 49 hours on a single charge, keeping the headphones running through long journeys or work weeks without frequent recharging.

DNN microphone noise cancellation for calls

Built-in microphones use deep neural network processing to suppress background noise during phone calls. Voice pickup stays clear even in busy environments. The headphones maintain stable wireless performance for both media and voice. Users who need multipoint pairing or ultra-low latency competitive gaming may find the feature set limited.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the Edifier W820NB headphones with my phone for the first time, and what step do people often miss?

Turn on the headphones and hold the power button until the indicator flashes red and blue to enter pairing mode, then select W820NB in your phone's Bluetooth menu; the step many miss is holding the button long enough after power-on rather than releasing it too early.

What maintenance will the W820NB need over time, and which part typically wears out first?

The ear-pad cushions on the 40 mm drivers are the first components to degrade with daily use; wipe them with a slightly damp cloth and replace the pads when they lose seal or comfort, while the built-in battery is not user-replaceable.

What is the first limitation I will hit during a long listening session with the W820NB at moderate volume?

The 49-hour rated playtime is the primary limit; once the battery is depleted you must recharge via the supplied cable before continuing, as there is no passive wired mode to keep listening without power.
