Edifier W860NB ANC over-ear headphone

The Edifier W860NB is an over-ear Bluetooth headphone with active noise cancelling and aptX support. It is built for commuters and office workers who want wireless audio with reduced background sound. Smart touch controls on the earcup handle volume and playback without reaching for a phone. A clamshell travel case is included for protection on the move.

ANC and touch controls change daily use

Active noise cancelling uses a microphone to detect surrounding noise and emits an opposing frequency to reduce it. This lets you hear music more clearly on busy streets or near air-conditioning units. Touch controls allow a double tap to pause or resume a track and swipe gestures to adjust volume. With ANC and Bluetooth both active the battery lasts 25 hours of continuous playback; turning ANC off extends wireless use to 45 hours.

Suits wireless listeners who value quiet

This model suits anyone who wants all-day wireless listening with effective noise reduction and simple on-ear controls. The hard case adds durability for travel or gym bags. Buyers who need a wired connection option or longer battery life with ANC enabled should look at other models.

Questions about this item

How long before the 25-hour battery with ANC on needs replacing?

The built-in battery delivers 25 hours with ANC and Bluetooth active, or 45 hours with ANC off; recharge via USB when depleted.

What limits continuous use first — battery life or driver heat?

Battery life is the limiting factor: 25 hours with ANC and Bluetooth on, 45 hours with ANC off, after which a recharge is required.

How much heat or noise do the 40 mm drivers produce during all-day wear?

The 40 mm neodymium drivers run silently; the over-ear pads stay comfortable for extended sessions with no audible fan or coil noise.
