Wireless HDMI Extender Kit

The Edimax Wireless HDMI Extender Kit transmits 4K video and audio up to 30 metres without cables. It connects laptops, PCs, TV boxes or projectors to a monitor for streaming and presentations. The kit includes USB-C, Micro and Mini HDMI adapters for broader device compatibility.

Sustained streaming performance

The system delivers a stable 1080p signal at 60 Hz during extended sessions. Dual-band 2.4G and 5G operation reduces interference for consistent throughput. Low latency is maintained across the link so video remains tear-free throughout meetings or gaming.

Plug-and-play constraint

No Wi-Fi network, app or Bluetooth pairing is required; the link establishes within 10 seconds of power-up. This makes the kit unsuitable for buyers who need managed network integration or remote configuration. It serves only direct point-to-point HDMI replacement.

Questions about this item

Does the transmitter or receiver get hot or noisy when streaming 1080P at 60Hz all day?

The kit is a compact plug-and-play wireless HDMI extender with no fans; it runs silently and stays cool during extended 1080P/60Hz streaming sessions.

What ports must my laptop or source device already have to use this kit?

Your source needs an HDMI output; the included USB-C, Micro HDMI and Mini HDMI adapters cover most modern laptops, tablets and cameras.

Will this extender work reliably with an older 1080P projector placed 30M away?

Yes, it supports 4K decoding and 1080P/60Hz output up to 30 metres, so a legacy 1080P projector at that distance will display a stable, low-latency image.
