What it is and who it fits

A wireless HDMI extender kit that streams video and audio from a PC, TV box or projector to a monitor up to 100 feet away. It suits home users who want a tidy living-room setup and presenters who move a laptop between meeting rooms. The kit does not support smartphones or tablets, so mobile-only workflows need a different solution.

Dual-band wireless limits

The link runs on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with smart handovers between them, giving a practical range of 100 feet in typical indoor conditions. Walls, furniture and other 2.4 GHz traffic can shorten that distance, and the system does not fall back to a wired connection if the radio path fails.

Capacity and headroom

The transmitter decodes sources up to 4K but the receiver outputs at 1080p 60 Hz, so 4K content is downscaled before display. That resolution is comfortable for movies, photos and business slides, while fast-paced gaming or colour-critical work will notice the 1080p ceiling.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band for my setup?

The kit operates on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with smart handovers, so it automatically selects the clearer channel for a stable link up to 100 ft.

What resolution and refresh rate will I actually see on the display?

The transmitter decodes up to 4K input and the receiver outputs 1080P at 60 Hz, giving full HD quality with smooth motion.

Does the HDMI interface limit the signal to 1080P even if my source is 4K?

Yes, the HDMI output is capped at 1080P 60 Hz regardless of the 4K source, so the display receives a full HD signal.
