Questions about this item

Does the EDUP EP-B3519S adapter come with a driver disc or must the driver be downloaded?

No disc is included. Install the driver before use by scanning the QR code in the manual or downloading from the EDUP support page for the B3519 model.

The spec lists 3 Mbps transfer rate; is that the practical speed I will see with Bluetooth 5.0?

The 3 Mbps figure is the maximum data-link rate. Real-world throughput is lower due to protocol overhead, distance, and interference.

What does the 66 ft range mean when the dongle is plugged into a desktop PC at the back of a desk?

The 66 ft / 20 m rating is for open space. Walls, metal furniture, and body shielding will reduce the usable distance.
