This EDUP splitter takes one HDMI source and duplicates it across two displays simultaneously. It supports resolutions up to 3840x2160p at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz, plus 3D formats. The unit is USB powered with an included cable and requires no external driver installation.

Sustained signal distribution

The device amplifies the HDMI signal for stable transmission to both outputs without loss or lag during continuous use. It handles deep colour up to 36 bit and audio formats including DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and LPCM 7.1. Operation relies on a DC 5 V supply drawing 500 mA from the USB connection.

HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.2 limits

Compatibility covers HDMI 1.3 and 1.4 with HDCP 1.2, but the splitter is not compatible with HDCP 2.2. Both connected displays receive the same duplicated signal at the lower of the two native resolutions. The maximum 4K refresh rate is capped at 30 Hz.
