Outdoor Wi-Fi 7 mesh router

The eero Outdoor 7 is a single-unit Wi-Fi 7 mesh router built for exterior coverage up to 15000 sq ft. It supports more than 100 connected devices and delivers a peak rate of 2.5 Gbps across its dual-band radios. The unit targets homeowners who need reliable wireless in gardens, patios or outbuildings.

PoE-powered with versatile mounting

The router draws power from a 30 W 802.3at or 802.3bt Class 4 PoE+ supply, eliminating the need for an outdoor mains socket. A supplied bracket and M22 connector allow attachment to wood, fibre cement, vinyl siding or stucco. The white enclosure measures 6.34 x 8.18 x 2.24 in without the bracket and 3.55 in deep with it fitted.

DFS channels and 6 GHz absence

The 5 GHz radio operates on U-NII-1, U-NII-2A, U-NII-2C and U-NII-3 bands, so DFS radar detection can trigger channel changes that briefly interrupt service. Peak PHY rates are 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2161 Mbps on 5 GHz; the 6 GHz spectrum used by Wi-Fi 7 is not available on this model. Buyers needing 6 GHz channels or a second node for larger meshes should look elsewhere.
