eero Pro 6E tri-band router

The eero Pro 6E is a Wi-Fi 6E tri-band router designed for homes that need reliable coverage up to 2,000 square feet. It supports more than 100 connected devices and delivers combined wireless speeds up to 5.4 Gbps across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

Built-in smart home hub

The router includes a Thread and Zigbee hub so compatible smart-home devices can connect directly without separate bridges. TrueMesh technology routes traffic across nodes to reduce drop-offs, while the eero app handles setup and remote network management in minutes.

2.5 GbE WAN/LAN port

A single 2.5 GbE port alongside a 1 GbE port provides the wired backhaul or uplink capacity that determines whether the router can feed multi-gigabit internet plans to wireless clients.

Questions about this item

How often will the internal antennas need adjustment or replacement?

The internal antennas are fixed and sealed inside the unit; they do not require adjustment or replacement during normal use.

What is the first limit reached during sustained 2.3 Gbps throughput on the 6 GHz band?

The 160 MHz channel width and 6 GHz spectrum provide the headroom; the practical ceiling is the 2.5 GbE WAN/LAN port speed.

How much heat does the router produce when running 24/7 at 40 °C ambient?

It is rated for continuous operation up to 40 °C with passive cooling; no active fan is present, so surface temperature stays within the specified range.
