Expand one port to two devices

The EH210 powered splitter converts a single RJ45 LAN port into two active Ethernet connections so two wired devices can operate simultaneously. It is suited for TVs, PCs, consoles and home or office setups where wall jacks are limited.

Shared bandwidth at gigabit speeds

The adapter supports up to 1000Mbps total bandwidth with stable transmission and reduced crosstalk while remaining backward compatible with 10/100Mbps networks. When both ports are used the bandwidth is shared and actual speed depends on the network and connected equipment.

USB-C power required for operation

The splitter needs the supplied USB-C power cable to function; it will not operate from the Ethernet link alone. A Cat5e Ethernet cable is also included for immediate plug-and-play setup.

Questions about this item

Is the single 1000 Mbps bandwidth divided between the two ports?

Yes, the total 1000 Mbps bandwidth is shared when both ports are active; each device gets a portion based on its own traffic and the upstream network.

What does 1000 Mbps mean when two devices are connected?

It is the combined ceiling for both connections; real-world speed per device depends on your router, switch, and cable quality.

Does the USB-C port carry data or only power?

The USB-C connection supplies power to the splitter only; all network traffic passes through the RJ45 ports.
