Questions about this item

Will the 3-Pin Rectangle Conn connector fit my Asus laptop if the original tip is round 6.0×3.7 mm?

No — the adapter uses a 3-Pin Rectangle Conn connector and the manufacturer notes it is not compatible with round tips measuring 6.0×3.7 mm or 5.5×2.5 mm.

What is the most common mistake when plugging this 20 V 12 A adapter into a supported Asus model?

Users sometimes force the rectangular plug upside-down; the keyed 3-Pin Rectangle Conn only seats one way, so align the notch before pushing.

How often should I replace the detachable AC cord on this 240 W charger?

Inspect the cord every 12 months; replace it if the insulation cracks or the IEC C5 connector feels loose, as a damaged cord can interrupt the 20 V 12 A output.
