They are intended for schools, libraries, museums and other venues that need large quantities of simple wired listening devices. The purple colour helps identify the stock quickly in shared environments.

Sustained-use comfort and output

Ultra-soft in-ear tips conform to children’s ears during long testing sessions or classroom activities. The drivers present a 32 ohm impedance with a maximum power input of 5 mW, delivering 115 dB sensitivity at the front and 102 dB overall across a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range for consistent stereo playback.

3.5 mm wired connectivity limits

A standard 3.5 mm stereo plug connects directly to tablets, Chromebooks, computers and legacy audio equipment without adapters or pairing. The 3.6 ft cord threads through clothing and bags, but the fixed cable length and single connector restrict movement to the tether radius and prevent use with devices that lack a headphone jack.

Questions about this item

How much power do the 32-ohm drivers draw when the class listens all day?

Each earbud handles a maximum input of 5 mW, so a typical tablet or Chromebook will drive them easily without draining the battery quickly.

What device port must the school already have for the 3.5 mm plug to work?

Any standard 3.5 mm stereo jack — found on iPads, Chromebooks, laptops, CD players and most classroom audio equipment — accepts the connector directly.

Will the 20 Hz–20 kHz response sound clear on older lab computers with basic sound cards?

Yes, the wide frequency range and 115 dB sensitivity deliver full-range stereo even from legacy headphone outputs that struggle with lower-efficiency models.
