Product identity

Electronic Arts FIFA 16 on Xbox One is a sports simulation that introduces twelve women's national teams for the first time in the series. It is aimed at players who want authentic international football with licensed squads and realistic player likenesses.

Platform limits

The game runs on Xbox One and is also available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. Women's national teams compete exclusively against each other in Match Day, an offline tournament and online friendly matches.

Content scope

Twelve nations are included: Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy and Mexico. Head scans, unique animations and 3D modelling recreate star players such as Christine Sinclair, Alex Morgan and Stephanie Houghton. Questions about this item

Should I pick the Xbox One version or one of the other platforms for FIFA 16?

The Xbox One edition includes all 12 Women's National Teams and the new head-scanned player likenesses that debut in FIFA 16, so you get the same headline features as the PlayStation 4 and PC releases.

What does the addition of Women's National Teams actually change in FIFA 16 on Xbox One?

You can play Match Day, an Offline Tournament, and Online Friendly Matches with 12 licensed women's sides — Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy and Mexico — using authentic 3D models and animations.

Does the Xbox One disc require an online connection or subscription to access the women's teams?

The women's teams are on the disc and playable offline in Match Day and Tournament modes; only Online Friendly Matches need an Xbox Live Gold subscription and internet access.
