Day-and-night street racing for PS4

Need for Speed Heat is a racing game built for PlayStation 4 that splits progression between sanctioned daytime events and illicit night races. Players enter the Speedhunter Showdown to earn Bank for upgrades, then push reputation in underground races after dark. A rogue police task force hunts the player once the sun sets. The structure suits anyone who wants a single-player arcade racer with a clear risk-versus-reward loop.

Progression depth and replay limits

The campaign delivers a full roster of race, drift and off-road events across Palm City, with enough vehicle customisation to keep garages busy for dozens of hours. Reputation unlocks higher-tier parts and bigger night races, while Bank funds visual and performance upgrades. Completionists will eventually exhaust the event list and reach the upgrade ceiling, after which only online lobbies or repeat runs remain.

Disc-based PS4 library addition

The title ships as a physical PlayStation 4 disc, so it installs directly on any PS4 or PS5 with a disc drive and requires no separate launcher. No persistent internet connection is needed for the single-player campaign, freeing bandwidth and avoiding account-linked restrictions. Buyers who prefer digital-only libraries or who lack an optical drive will need a different format.
