Automatic ice maker kit for Element 17.6 cu. ft.

This kit installs inside compatible Element 17.6 cu. ft. Top Freezer refrigerators to supply ice without manual trays. It produces up to 2 lbs of ice per day and the included bucket stores up to 7 lbs. The unit automatically detects when the storage bin is full and stops production to prevent overflow. A manual off switch lets you pause operation when ice is not needed.

Production rate and storage capacity limits

Daily output is capped at 2 lbs, so households with high ice demand may find the supply insufficient during gatherings. The 7 lb storage bin fills over several hours and the automatic shut-off halts further production until ice is removed. The ice maker dimensions are 5.6 x 4.8 x 12.0 inches and the bin measures 9.4 x 13.8 x 5.5 inches, requiring the designated freezer compartment space. No drain connection or external water line installation is described in the specifications.

Replaces manual ice trays for Element 17.6 cu. ft.

This kit upgrades Element 17.6 cu. ft. Top Freezer refrigerators (models ENR18TFGCW, ENR18TFGCB, ENR18TFGCS) from manual tray filling to automatic production. The jump is worth it when you want hands-free ice availability and the 2 lb daily rate matches your typical usage. It is not suited for buyers who need higher daily output or larger storage capacity than 7 lbs. Compatibility is limited to the listed Element refrigerator models.
