Professional LED panel for streamers
The Elgato Key Light is a desk-mounted LED panel built for creators who need consistent, high-output illumination for on-camera work. It delivers 2800 lumens of adjustable brightness and a colour temperature range of 2900K to 7000K. The opal glass face provides glare-free diffusion. An extendable metal pole mount clamps to the desk, keeping the unit off the floor and flush against the wall.
Wi-Fi control via companion app
The single specification that decides fit is the wireless interface: the panel connects over Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n with WPA/WPA2 encryption. All adjustments — brightness, colour temperature, and power — are made through the Elgato Control Center app on a Windows 10 64-bit PC, macOS 10.14 or newer Mac, or an iOS and Android device. No physical buttons or remote are included; a Wi-Fi enabled computer or mobile device is mandatory for initial setup and daily operation.
Integrates with Stream Deck for hands-free operation
The panel draws up to 45 W from its included external power supply and weighs 2.86 lbs. The pole mount extends from a minimum of 22.00" to a maximum of 49.00" and the padded clamp expands up to 2.35" to suit various desk thicknesses. Direct Stream Deck integration allows one-touch lighting changes mid-stream, freeing the creator from alt-tabbing to the app. Buyers who need battery-powered portability or DMX control for multi-light rigs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How bright is 2800 lumens when the panel is clamped to my desk?
At 2800 lumens the panel delivers studio-grade output that can fully illuminate a face at typical streaming distance and still be dimmed to a subtle glow for darker scenes.
What does the Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n connection actually limit in daily use?
The link carries only brightness and colour-temperature commands to the app, so it caps at the speed of those adjustments rather than video bandwidth.
How much desk thickness can the padded clamp accept?
The expandable clamp opens to 2.35 inches, fitting most standard desks and tables without additional hardware.
