1.7L Double Wall Electric Kettle

The Elite Gourmet EKT8717 is a 1.7 litre electric kettle with a borosilicate glass body and 304 stainless steel interior. It operates at 1100 watts on 120 volt power and reaches boiling point in under ten minutes. The dual-wall construction keeps the exterior cool to the touch during use.

For precise beverage temperatures

Pre-programmed settings for white tea, green tea, oolong tea and coffee let you select the exact heat required without guesswork. The keep-warm function holds that temperature for up to two hours. Buyers who need a stove-top whistle kettle or a larger capacity for entertaining should look elsewhere.

Adjustable temperature with real-time display

Touch-screen controls show the current water temperature and allow fine tuning with plus and minus buttons. An audible beep signals when the target temperature is reached. This visibility decides whether the kettle matches your brewing routine.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Elite Gourmet EKT8717 kettle on its cordless base?

Place the kettle body onto the power base so the connector on the bottom of the kettle aligns fully with the base contacts; the unit will not heat if it sits crooked.

What maintenance will the borosilicate glass and 304 stainless steel interior need over time?

Hand-wash the glass body and stainless interior with mild detergent; wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and clean the lid mesh filter regularly to prevent mineral build-up.

How long can the keep-warm function hold water at the set temperature before it shuts off?

The keep-warm feature maintains the selected temperature for up to 2 hours, after which the auto shut-off activates for safety.
