Android media player for Elo IDS displays

The Elo Touch Solutions E000739 is an Android computer module that slides into compatible Elo 01 and 02 series interactive digital signage displays. It provides a self-contained computing platform powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 CPU with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash storage.

Integrated connectivity and cloud management

The module includes 1 GB LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and an antenna, plus 4x USB 2.0 ports for peripherals. It enables the EloView cloud solution for remote content and device management across a network of displays.

Suited for commercial signage deployments

This unit fits organisations adding Android compute to existing Elo IDS screens for interactive kiosks or omnichannel content. It is not for buyers needing a standalone player with HDMI output, higher internal storage, or support for non-Elo display hardware.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB flash storage need replacing after heavy write cycles?

The 16 GB flash is soldered to the module and cannot be swapped; plan content updates to minimise constant rewriting.

Which component hits its ceiling first when the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 runs media loops all day?

The 2 GB RAM fills before the CPU throttles, limiting the number of concurrent Android signage apps.

How loud and hot does the E000739 get inside an Elo IDS display during continuous operation?

The fanless module runs silently; heat is dissipated through the display chassis, staying within commercial-grade thermal limits.
