15-Inch 4:3 AccuTouch POS Monitor

The Elo Touch Solutions E144246 is a 15-inch desktop touchmonitor built for point-of-sale and public-facing service environments. It uses a five-wire resistive AccuTouch screen that responds to finger, gloved hand or stylus input. The 4:3 aspect ratio and 1024 x 768 resolution match legacy POS software layouts. Serial and USB touch interfaces provide flexible connectivity to existing terminals.

Replaces Ageing Resistive Touch Displays

This monitor suits operators replacing failed or dimming 15-inch resistive units in retail, hospitality or self-service kiosks. The LED backlight delivers 250 cd/m² brightness with a 700:1 contrast ratio while reducing energy draw by roughly 60 percent compared to older CCFL models. The upgrade is worth it when the current screen shows calibration drift, backlight yellowing or touch-layer delamination from heavy daily use.

Suits Countertop And Shelf Installations

The compact 12.60 by 14.10 by 7.80 inch footprint and 9.48 lb weight fit tight counters, shelf-level mounts and pole-arm fixtures. Integrated cable routing keeps power and signal leads tidy in public view. Buyers needing wider viewing angles than 80 degrees horizontal or vertical, higher brightness for bright ambient light, or a zero-bezel glass surface should evaluate alternative technologies.
