The Em-D-Kay TSSL45003 is a Grade 2 commercial cylindrical lever lockset finished in Polished Brass US3. It is intended for storeroom or vestibule doors that must remain locked from the outside at all times, suiting offices, schools, and secure storage areas.

Critical Specification

The lock operates on a storeroom function: the outside lever is always rigid and requires a key for every entry, while the inside lever always allows free egress. It uses a 6-pin Schlage SC4 keyway cylinder keyed different and accepts Schlage, Arrow, Marks, AWI, Lori, Falcon, ASSA, and most Medeco cylinders for rekeying flexibility.

Build Integration

Designed for wood or metal doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a 2-3/4" backset, the adjustable front accommodates flat or beveled edges. The reversible solid brass latchbolt with 1/2" throw serves right- or left-hand swings, and the separate spring mechanisms for each lever prevent arm sag. Lever travel reaches 50 degrees for barrier-free ADA compliance. Not suited for passage or privacy functions where the outside lever must unlock.
