Emaks BRJ65200325 65W USB-C Charger

The Emaks BRJ65200325 is a new 65W USB-C laptop charger designed to replace original power adapters. It delivers 20V at 3.25A for 65W output and also supports 45W at 20V 2.25A through the same USB-C tip. The unit accepts a universal 100-240V 50-60Hz input for worldwide use. Multi-protection circuits guard against over-voltage and short-circuit events.

Ideal for USB-C laptops needing 65W or 45W power

This charger suits owners of compatible HP Chromebook, Spectre, Elite, Pavilion and Pro models that charge via USB-C at 65W or 45W. It also matches a long list of manufacturer part numbers such as SM65CL-01, ADP200325A and SK90200325. Buyers whose devices require a barrel connector, a proprietary tip, or more than 65W should look at a different adapter.

Single USB-C port with 65W Power Delivery

The decisive specification is the single USB-C output providing 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A and 20V/3.25A up to 65W total. If your laptop charges through USB-C and accepts one of these voltage/current pairs, this adapter will power it. If the machine needs a different connector or a higher wattage profile, this unit is not compatible.

Questions about this item

What does the 65W rating mean when I plug this charger into my laptop?

The adapter delivers up to 65W through its USB-C port, automatically selecting 5V, 9V, 15V or 20V at the current your device negotiates so a 65W laptop charges at full speed while a 45W model draws only what it needs.

Which USB-C power standard does the BRJ65200325 use and what voltage does it cap at?

It uses USB Power Delivery and the highest fixed profile is 20V at 3.25A for 65W; lower profiles at 20V 2.25A, 15V 3A, 9V 3A and 5V 3A are also supported.

What physical connector does the Emaks BRJ65200325 need to fit my laptop?

A USB Type-C plug — the oval, reversible connector shown in the product photos — inserts directly into any compatible USB-C charging port on the listed ASUS, Lenovo, Acer, HP, Dell or Chromebook models.
