What Is eMedia My Piano

eMedia My Piano is a downloadable piano-learning application for Mac OS X 10.4 or later. It delivers over 100 lessons guided by animated tutor Pam the Piano and former Juilliard instructor Irma Irene Justicia M.A. The software targets children aged five and up who want a structured introduction to keyboard basics.

Lesson Scope and Requirements

The course contains more than 100 lessons covering fundamental playing techniques and songs. An animated keyboard displays color-coded fingerings while audio plays and interactive feedback scores each performance when a MIDI keyboard is connected. The download runs on Mac OS X 10.4 and newer releases without physical media.

MIDI Keyboard Dependency

Interactive scoring and mistake detection require an external MIDI keyboard; the program cannot assess playing through the computer keyboard alone. Buyers without a MIDI controller will not receive real-time feedback or accuracy scores. The download format provides immediate access once the Mac requirement is met.

Questions about this item

Will eMedia My Piano EK12097DLM run on the Mac OS X 10.4 system I still use?

Yes, the software supports Mac OS X 10.4 or later, so it will install and run on that version.

How can I confirm the Interactive Feedback is scoring my playing correctly after I install the download?

Connect a MIDI keyboard, play a lesson, and the software will highlight mistakes, show correct fingerings, and display an overall score for each exercise.

Does the download include a MIDI keyboard or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains only the software download; a MIDI keyboard is required for Interactive Feedback and must be purchased separately.
