EMEET SmartCam C960 AF Webcam

The EMEET SmartCam C960 AF is a USB 2.0 video capturing device built for personal streaming and conferencing. It delivers up to 1080p resolution at 60fps using a CMOS sensor. The integrated PDAF autofocus operates within a 20-300cm range to maintain sharp focus. A physical privacy cover protects the lens when the camera is not active.

Thermals Noise and Power

The webcam draws power directly from the USB 2.0 connection, requiring no external adapter. Its compact, driverless design runs silently with no moving cooling parts. The 1.5 metre cable provides flexible placement without signal degradation. Normal operation stays cool to the touch during extended calls.

73 Degree Field of View

The fixed 73° field of view frames a single user tightly while minimising background distraction. This angle suits desk setups where only the speaker should appear on screen. Buyers needing a wider scene for group meetings or whiteboard capture should consider a different model. The privacy cover slides across this exact lens opening.

Questions about this item

How do I install the EMEET SmartCam C960 AF and what step do people often miss?

Connect the USB 2.0 cable to the computer; the camera works without drivers. People often forget to slide the built-in privacy cover open before starting a call, leaving the lens blocked.

What maintenance or replacement will the EMEET SmartCam C960 AF need later?

Wipe the lens occasionally and keep the privacy cover closed when idle to protect it from dust. The fixed USB 2.0 cable cannot be swapped, so avoid sharp bends or tension that could damage the 1.5 m cord over time.

What limit appears first during long sessions with the EMEET SmartCam C960 AF?

The PDAF autofocus operates reliably between 20 cm and 300 cm; moving closer than 20 cm or farther than 300 cm causes the focus to hunt or lock, which is the first practical limit during extended use.
