Adds seven USB Type-A ports running at up to 10 Gbps each via a PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 x4 slot
This PCIe add-on card provides seven rear-facing USB Type-A ports, each capable of up to 10 Gbps when used individually. It connects through a PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot and requires a motherboard slot that supports PCIe 3.0 or newer for full speed. The card uses ASMedia ASM3142 and VL822-Q7 chipsets and draws all required power from the slot itself. A full-profile bracket is included for standard chassis.
The card fits any PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot but will not work in a PCIe x1 slot. No external power cable is needed because the onboard circuitry is powered directly from the motherboard slot. Ensure the motherboard slot runs at PCIe 3.0 or above; older 2.0 slots will limit the 10 Gbps throughput. The full-profile bracket may require a low-profile alternative for slim cases, which is not supplied.
This card suits desktop builders who need multiple high-speed USB Type-A ports for external drives, docks or capture devices and have a free x4 or wider slot. It is not suitable for systems that only have PCIe x1 slots available, for compact builds that require a low-profile bracket, or for users who need USB Type-C connectors or additional charging ports beyond the standard specification.

Connect a USB 3.2 Gen2 device to a single port and run a benchmark; the card uses ASMEDIA ASM3142 and VL822-Q7 chipsets to provide up to 10Gbps per port when used individually.
The card includes a full-profile PCI slot bracket and requires no extra power input; you only need an available PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot on a motherboard that supports PCIe 3.0 or 4.0.
Use a PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot — the card does not support PCIe x1 slots and needs PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 for 10Gbps operation.
