Converts 12+6 pin MacBook Air SSDs from 2010-2011 models to standard 22-pin SATA without altering performance
This EN-Labs A1370 adapter converts the proprietary 12+6pin SSD found in MacBook Air models from 2010 and 2011 to a standard 22-pin SATA interface. It supports A1370 and A1369 chassis with model numbers MC503, MC504, MC505, MC506, MC965, MC966, MC968 and MC969. The board performs only a physical connection change.
The adapter contains no active controller, so sustained data rates match the original drive and host bus without added latency or throttling. Performance under continuous load is identical to a direct SSD connection because the circuit simply reroutes signals. No firmware or driver is required for operation.
As a passive bridge board it draws no extra power and generates no measurable heat beyond the SSD itself. The compact PCB adds no audible noise and fits inside the MacBook Air without modifying the chassis. Verify the 12+6pin contact layout before installation.
Measured against everything we stock in PCIe Expansion Cards, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The adapter is a passive bridge card with no active components, so it adds no measurable power draw or heat during all-day operation.
You need a MacBook Air 2010 (A1370, A1369, MC503-506) or 2011 (A1370, A1369, MC965-969) with a 12+6pin SSD, plus a standard 22-pin SATA cable and host device.
Yes, the adapter presents a standard 22-pin SATA connection, so the SSD works with any system that accepts a regular SATA drive.
