Converts a 30x50mm mSATA SSD into a 2.5" SATA drive within a 7mm aluminium enclosure
Size mSATA
The EN-Labs adapter converts a 30x50mm mSATA solid-state drive into a standard 2.5inch SATA form factor. A 7mm aluminium enclosure houses the converter board and provides a direct pass-through for data and power signals. No driver installation is required and the device works with Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. Transfer rates reach the SATA III 6Gbps limit of the source drive.
Buyers with mini PCIe, M.2 or proprietary Apple solid-state drives cannot use this enclosure. The converter is built exclusively for the mSATA interface and will not accept other connector types. Systems lacking a 2.5inch SATA bay or cable also require a different mounting solution.
Only solid-state drives matching the 30x50mm mSATA specification fit the internal slot. The aluminium housing measures 100x70x7mm and matches the 7mm thickness common in slim notebooks. Compatibility depends entirely on the drive conforming to this exact mSATA size and interface.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the enclosure converts a 30x50mm mSATA drive into a standard 2.5" SATA form factor with a 7mm thickness, matching the bay exactly.
The drive should be recognised by the BIOS and OS without extra drivers, and benchmark tools will show sequential speeds consistent with the SSD's own SATA III 6Gbps rating.
The aluminium enclosure houses the mSATA SSD and presents a direct SATA data and power connector; screws and cables are not included and must be sourced separately.
