Adds two USB Type-C and two USB Type-A ports at up to 5 Gbps through a single PCIe x1 slot
This EN-Labs add-on card adds four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express x1 slot. Two ports are Type-C and two are Type-A, each supporting transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. The card draws power directly from the slot so no extra power cable is needed. It is supplied with a full-profile bracket, two mounting screws, a driver disc and a manual.
Builders who want extra Type-C and Type-A connectors for keyboards, mice, drives, webcams, printers, scanners, controllers or VR headsets will find this card a simple upgrade. Systems that lack a free x1, x4, x8 or x16 PCIe slot cannot use it. Machines running Windows XP, Vista or 7 require a driver install, so completely driver-free operation is not guaranteed on those older operating systems.
The card works with PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 motherboards and accepts x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots. A full-profile bracket is included for typical tower cases. No external power connector is required, freeing up PSU cables. Backward compatibility with USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1 devices means existing peripherals continue to work.
