Check host port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode

Before ordering, verify that the USB-C port on your computer, phone or tablet explicitly supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Standard USB-C data or charging ports without this feature will not transmit video. Windows devices may require updated USB-C or Thunderbolt drivers from the system vendor. The adapter is not compatible with ports that lack Alternate Mode implementation.

Aluminium adapter needs no external power

The compact aluminium housing draws power directly from the host USB-C port, so no separate power supply is required.
