Cordless pruner with dual 4.0Ah batteries

The Endutools electric pruning shears are a battery powered tool for gardeners and landscapers who need to trim trees, shrubs, fruit trees and vines. A brushless motor drives the bypass blade through branches up to 1.2 inch thick. Two included lithium ion packs deliver 800 to 1200 cuts per charge depending on branch size.

Suits high volume pruning not light occasional snips

This model suits users who maintain large gardens, orchards or landscaping jobs and want long runtime without swapping cells. It is not for buyers who only need a few cuts per season and would prefer a lighter manual pruner or a lower capacity tool.

1.2 inch maximum cutting diameter

The SK5 bypass blade opens to a 1.2 inch cutting width, which sets the hard limit on branch thickness. If your work regularly involves stems thicker than 1.2 inch, this pruner cannot complete the cut and a larger capacity cutter is required.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1.2 inch model or is there a smaller capacity version?

The shears are offered with a single 1.2 inch cutting diameter and two 4.0Ah batteries, so there is no smaller capacity option to choose.

What does the 800 to 1200 cuts per charge figure mean when I am actually pruning?

Each 4.0Ah battery delivers 800 to 1200 cuts depending on branch thickness, giving you enough runtime for a full day of orchard or landscaping work.

How does the bypass blade design affect what I can cut?

The SK5 bypass blade slices cleanly through live wood up to 1.2 inches, making it suited for fruit trees, vines and shrubs rather than dead or hardened branches.
