Child-Safe Wall Plate

The ENERLITES 8800-TR White Duplex Switch Plate 6 Pack provides tamper-resistant outlet covers designed for residential and commercial use. Each plate features a spring-loaded mechanism that snaps shut when not in use, preventing children and pets from accessing live contacts. The polycarbonate thermoplastic construction resists impacts and temperatures over 100° without discoloration. A smooth gloss finish with soft edges allows for easy cleaning in high-traffic areas.

Standard 1-Gang Fit

These plates conform to standard 1-gang dimensions of 4.68" height by 2.93" length, matching existing decorator and duplex openings. Installation hardware is included, but the screw length differs by outlet type: duplex outlets use the provided 3/4 inch screws with an additional adapter piece, while decorator outlets use 5/16 inch screws directly. The plate depth is .2 in, adding minimal projection from the wall surface. Compatibility is limited to these two outlet styles only.

Six-Pack Coverage

The 6-pack supplies enough plates for multiple rooms or a whole-floor refresh, covering up to six standard outlets. Each unit measures 3.9 in by 4.75 in overall, fitting flush against the wall. The tamper-resistant function operates mechanically without batteries or wiring changes, so it remains effective for the life of the plate. Households needing protection for more than six outlets or non-standard gang configurations will require additional packs or different models.
