Product Identity

This ENERLITES HET06-J6 countdown timer switch replaces a standard wall switch to automatically shut off lights, ceiling fans, bathroom fans or heaters after a preset interval. The 2-pack unit operates on 120 VAC, 15 A circuits and supports incandescent loads up to 800 W, LED or CFL loads up to 150 W and motor loads up to 1/4 hp. No neutral wire is required for installation. UL listed and CSA certified.

Who It Suits

Ideal for homeowners or facility managers who want to prevent fans or lights from being left on accidentally and prefer a simple six-button interface with 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 60 minute settings. The blue LED offers two indication modes for visual confirmation. Not suitable for circuits that require a neutral connection at the switch box, for loads exceeding the stated wattage or motor ratings, for multi-way switching arrangements, or for outdoor or high-temperature environments beyond 131 °F.

Deciding Specification

The switch provides six fixed countdown durations — 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes — with no adjustable or programmable timing beyond these presets. If the application needs variable timing, longer maximum delays, repeat-cycle operation or smart-home integration, this model will not meet the requirement.
