Single-pole smart switch for Alexa.

This AUTO-VOX SS01S smart light switch replaces a standard single-pole wall switch and connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings for voice control and app-based management via Smart Life or TreatLife. The four-pack suits whole-home installations where neutral wiring is present.

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, no 5 GHz support

The switch communicates exclusively on the 2.4 GHz band and will not join a 5 GHz network. It requires a neutral wire in the switch box and is limited to single-pole circuits; three-way or multi-location wiring is not supported. Maximum load is 1250 W at 10 A on a 120 VAC 60 Hz supply, and the operating temperature range spans -5 °C to 45 °C.

Non-dimming on/off switch with screwless wall plate

This model provides simple on/off switching and does not offer dimming functionality. Each unit includes a standard-size screwless snap-on wall plate compatible with one-, two- or three-gang openings. The switch measures 3.3 in by 4.84 in by 1.57 in and is rated for indoor commercial or residential use.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 4-pack or a single switch?

The listing is only offered as a 4-pack, so you receive four identical single-pole switches in one box.

What does the 1250 W rating mean once the switch is installed?

It is the maximum load the switch can control on a 120 V circuit, which corresponds to a 10 A limit for resistive lighting loads.

Which Wi-Fi band does the switch use and what does that cap in practice?

The switch connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so it will not join a 5 GHz network and its range depends on that band's penetration through walls.
