Enfain DisplayPort 1.4 cable 16.4 ft
This 16.4 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable connects a DP-compatible PC or laptop to a monitor or projector. It carries video up to 8K at 60 Hz and HD audio in a single link. The 28 AWG tinned-copper conductors and 24 K gold-plated plugs are built for plug-and-play use with DP, DP++ and DisplayPort++ devices. It suits streaming, gaming or extended-workstation setups.
Sustained 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz transmission
The cable maintains stable 8K 60 Hz (7680 x 4320) and 4K 120 Hz (3840 x 2160) signals over its full length without an extension cord. Multiple shielding layers and one-piece moulding protect the 28 AWG conductors from cracking and interference during long sessions. At 2560 x 1440 the link supports up to 165 Hz refresh for high-frame-rate gaming.
Thermals noise and power in normal use
As a passive copper cable it draws no external power and produces no fan noise or measurable heat during operation. The gold-plated connectors resist oxidation to keep contact resistance low over time. The nylon-braided jacket adds durability without adding active cooling requirements.

Questions about this item
Does the 28 AWG cable get warm or draw noticeable power when driving an 8K 60 Hz signal all day?
DisplayPort cables are passive copper links; the 28 AWG tinned copper conductors carry only the signal current required by the 1.4 specification, so they do not generate measurable heat or add to your system power draw.
What ports must my PC and monitor already have for this cable to work?
Both devices need a standard DisplayPort or DP++ socket; the cable plugs directly into those ports with its 24K gold-plated connectors and requires no adapters or external power.
Will this 1.4 cable run at 4K 120 Hz on my older graphics card that only supports DisplayPort 1.2?
The link negotiates the highest common version; with a 1.2 source the maximum is 4K 60 Hz, so you would not reach 4K 120 Hz until you upgrade to a 1.4-capable GPU.
