Cooling for 11-17 inch laptops

The Enhance HY-288 cooling pad fits notebooks from 11 to 17 inches and draws power from a single USB connection. Two 160 mm fans move air across a perforated ABS surface to lower internal temperatures during extended sessions. Dual USB 2.0 ports replace the occupied port and add room for peripherals. Two tilt settings let the user choose a comfortable typing angle.

Sustained airflow and noise profile

The pair of 160 mm fans runs at a constant speed to maintain steady airflow across the laptop base without ramping up and down. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene construction resists flex so the fan alignment stays consistent over time. At 712 grams the pad remains stable on a desk while the laptop exhausts heat into the open mesh. The blue LED lighting indicates power status without adding audible noise.

Replaces single-fan pads and flat stands

Owners of basic single-fan coolers gain a wider air path and a second USB 2.0 port for mice or drives. Users who currently rely on passive stands add active cooling without needing an external power brick. The jump is worthwhile when the laptop throttles during long renders or gaming sessions and the chassis runs hot to the touch.

Questions about this item

How much noise and heat do the two 160 mm fans add when the pad runs all day?

The 160 mm fans are described as silent and create a noise-free environment while moving air across the ABS surface to lower laptop temperatures.

Which ports must my laptop already have to power the pad and use its extra USB 2.0 ports?

One free USB-A port on the laptop supplies power to the cooler; the pad then provides two additional USB 2.0 ports for data or peripherals.

Will the 14.33 in by 12.83 in base and adjustable angles hold an older 17 in notebook without blocking its vents?

The stand supports laptops up to 17 in, and the two height settings let you tilt the chassis so bottom intake vents stay clear.
