Purpose-built timelapse camera

The enlaps Tikee Mini+ is a compact mirrorless camera designed exclusively for 4K Ultra HD timelapse capture. A Sony 12MP sensor and wide-angle lens deliver a diagonal field of view of 149° and a horizontal field of view of 124°. It targets professionals who need automated, long-term monitoring on construction sites, events or environmental projects.

Thermals noise and power

IP66 certification guarantees operation from -10 °C to +50 °C without active cooling, so the unit runs silently in rain, dust or direct sun. Power comes from a built-in battery that can be supplemented by an external solar panel or the dedicated Tikee charger for continuous deployment. No mains supply is required at the mounting point.

Deciding specification

The camera produces 4K timelapse video using a sensor that provides 50% more pixels than standard 4K resolution. Live streaming is available at 1280 x 960 HD for remote framing checks. Buyers who need a conventional stills or video camera with interchangeable lenses should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the Tikee Mini+ mounted and what step do installers often miss?

The camera is compact and designed for quick setup anywhere, but the IP66 weatherproof seal only works if all port covers are fully latched after connecting power or a solar panel.

What maintenance will the Tikee Mini+ need over time?

The built-in battery will eventually lose capacity and require replacement; the IP66 seals should be inspected periodically, especially after exposure to extreme temperatures from -10°C to +50°C.

What limit appears first during continuous 4K timelapse recording?

The maximum exposure time of 2 seconds in low-light mode caps how much light each frame can gather, so night scenes hit this limit before storage or battery does.
