Product Definition

The ENS SIP34D3/28-C is a 4-megapixel network turret camera built for outdoor surveillance. It captures 2560 × 1440 video at 20 fps through a 2.8 mm fixed lens and includes infrared illumination up to 30 m. PoE support allows power and data over a single RJ-45 cable, while IP67 rating protects the housing against dust and water ingress.

Ideal Use Cases

This camera suits installers who need a fixed wide-angle view with 100° horizontal coverage and strong low-light performance via 120 dB WDR and 3D DNR. It is not for buyers who require motorised zoom, varifocal adjustment or a narrower field of view for long-distance identification.

Deciding Specification

The 2.8 mm fixed focal length sets the angle of view at 100° horizontally, 55° vertically and 117° diagonally. This single optical parameter determines whether the camera covers the intended scene or if a different lens is needed.

Questions about this item

Does the SIP34D3/28-C turret camera include a PoE injector or power supply in the box, or must I buy one separately?

The camera is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) through its single RJ-45 port. No separate power supply or PoE injector is included; you must provide a PoE switch or injector.

Should I choose the 2.8 mm fixed lens version or is there a varifocal option for a narrower field of view?

This model has a fixed 2.8 mm lens giving a horizontal FOV of 100°, vertical 55°, and diagonal 117°. No varifocal or other focal-length options are offered for this MPN.

What does the 2560 × 1440 @ 20 fps headline resolution mean for real-world recording smoothness and storage?

The main stream records at 2560 × 1440 pixels at up to 20 frames per second using H.265+ or H.264+ compression at 32 Kbps to 8 Mbps, balancing detail with lower bandwidth and storage use.
