3-Pin 10 mm LED Strip Wire Cap Connectors

This pack contains twenty clear connectors designed for 10 mm wide RGB LED strips. They accept 22 AWG solid or multi-core wires and operate at DC 5 to 24 volts. The set includes two pry bars and one screwdriver for quick installation.

Sustained-load behaviour with 72 W maximum

Rated for up to 72 watts, the connectors maintain a stable link across 5 V, 12 V and 24 V strips without overheating during continuous runs. The polycarbonate housing resists corrosion and cracking, keeping contact resistance low over long operating periods.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

Passive components produce no audible noise and add negligible heat to the strip itself. Power consumption is limited to the attached LEDs, while the IP20 front-pierce and IP65 back-pierce options preserve the strip’s original thermal path.

Questions about this item

Do these 3-pin connectors get hot when a 10 mm RGB strip runs at 72 W all day?

They are rated for 5-24 V and up to 72 W, so normal operation at full load stays within the specified limits.

What wire gauge must I already have to use the wire-end terminals?

The wire holes accept 22 AWG solid or multi-core wire; 20 AWG is too thick for the terminals.

Will these work with the IP65 waterproof 5050 strips I already own?

Yes — pierce the silicone from the back without stripping it, then close the cover with the included pry tool.
