Compact 68-key magnetic keyboard

The Epomaker Aula Hero 68 HE is a wired magnetic gaming keyboard with 68 keys in a purple plastic chassis. It connects via a USB-A to USB-C cable and draws power directly from the host. Hall-effect switches provide contactless actuation for consistent keystrokes and long-term durability.

Adjustable actuation from 0.01 to 3.4 mm

Each switch lets you set the exact trigger point anywhere between 0.01 mm and 3.4 mm of travel. An 8 kHz polling rate yields a reported 0.125 ms latency for fast input response. The tray-mount structure uses five layers of sound-dampening material to reduce cavity resonance and produce a deeper thocky sound profile.

Verify USB-A port and software needs

The keyboard requires a free USB-A port for the included cable and has no wireless option. Per-key RGB lighting and actuation settings are configured through the AULA web driver, which runs in Chrome on Windows or macOS. Buyers who need dedicated function rows, a numpad, or onboard macro storage without software should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which 68-key version should I pick if I want the Purple colour with magnetic switches?

This model is offered only in Purple with magnetic Hall-effect switches, so the single 68-key variant covers that combination.

What does the 0.125 ms latency figure mean when I am actually gaming?

It reflects the 8 kHz polling rate, giving the system a fresh key-state update every 0.125 ms for near-instant response.

How does the USB-A-to-C wired connection limit the 8 kHz polling rate in practice?

The cable supplies both power and data, and the 8 kHz polling rate is achieved over this standard USB link without extra drivers.
