Compact 68-key layout for desk-minimal gamers

The Hero 68 HE is a wired magnetic keyboard with a 68-key form factor that leaves more mouse room on small surfaces. Its USB-A-to-C cable provides a stable connection without wireless latency or battery management. Hall-effect switches eliminate physical contact between stem and PCB, so actuation stays consistent over millions of presses.

0.01 mm actuation steps

Adjustable actuation travels from 0.01 mm to 3.4 mm let you tune each key for hair-trigger repeats or deliberate presses during long sessions. The 8 kHz polling rate and 0.125 ms latency keep input registration tight even when dozens of keys are held simultaneously. Anti-ghosting ensures every simultaneous command reaches the system without drop-out.

Five-layer dampening keeps noise and vibration low

A metal positioning plate, PO sandwich foam, fibre switch pad, PET sound-dampening foam and bottom silicone pad combine to suppress cavity resonance. The tray-mount structure adds rigidity so the board stays quiet during rapid keystrokes. RGB backlighting and a neon light box are controlled through FN shortcuts without extra software overhead.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the Hero 68 HE produce during all-day use?

The keyboard has no fan and draws power only through the USB-C cable, so it adds no measurable heat or audible noise to your desk.

What must I already own to use the 8 kHz polling rate and per-key RGB?

A Windows or macOS machine with a free USB-A port and the AULA web driver running in Chrome.

Will the magnetic switches feel consistent if I keep my existing keycap set?

Yes — the hall-effect switches actuate without physical contact, so any standard MX-stem keycaps will give the same smooth, repeatable stroke.
