EPOS CEHS-PO 01 Electronic Hook Switch Cable

Purpose and Compatibility

The EPOS CEHS-PO 01 cable enables electronic hook switch control between a compatible Polycom desk phone and select EPOS wireless headsets. It supports the IMPACT SDW 5000, DW, SD and D 10 series so calls can be answered or ended remotely without a mechanical lifter.

Build and Connection

The cable connects directly to the EHS port on supported Polycom phones and to the headset base station using the manufacturer’s standard interface. Its moulded connectors are designed for a secure fit that resists accidental disconnection during daily office use.

Functional Limits

Electronic hook switch operation is only available when the desk phone itself supports the EHS protocol; older or non-compatible Polycom models will not provide remote call control. Users must verify their specific phone model against the EPOS compatibility guide before purchase.
