EPOS ADAPT 160T ANC USB-C Headset

The EPOS ADAPT 160T ANC is a wired, on-ear stereo headset connecting via USB Type-C or USB Type-A. It features active noise cancellation and a noise-cancelling microphone, certified for Microsoft Teams. Designed for hybrid workplaces, it offers plug-and-play simplicity for professionals needing clear communication across different devices. The lightweight frame and foldable boom arm support all-day comfort during calls.

Suited for office and remote workers needing Teams

This headset suits users who want a certified Microsoft Teams experience with active noise cancellation to block office distractions. The binaural design helps focus during long meetings. It is not for users who require wireless freedom, over-ear cups for maximum isolation, or an analogue connection for devices lacking USB ports. Buyers needing multi-device Bluetooth pairing should consider other options.

USB Type-C and USB Type-A wired connectivity

The single deciding specification is the dual USB interface providing a direct digital link to laptops, desktops or mobile devices with a USB-C or USB-A port. No drivers are required for basic audio and microphone function. Verify your device has an available USB-C or USB-A port before purchase, as no other connection method is supported by this model.

Questions about this item

Does this headset need a USB-C port on my computer or phone to work?

The ADAPT 160T ANC connects through a USB-C plug and the box includes a USB-C to USB-A adapter so it works with either port type.

Will the Microsoft Teams certification on this 1000221 model interfere with Zoom or other UC apps I keep using?

Teams certification only adds a dedicated call-control button; the headset functions as a standard USB audio device on any UC platform.

How can I confirm the active noise cancelling is actually reducing background sound after I plug it in?

Toggle the ANC switch on the ear cup; you should hear an immediate drop in ambient noise such as office chatter or HVAC hum.
