Ideal for talk-heavy professionals

The EPOS IMPACT 100 model 1001419 is an entry-level wired headset built for professionals who spend most of their day on calls. Its mono design keeps one ear open to the surrounding office while the microphone captures clear speech. Microsoft Teams certification and broad UC platform support mean it works straight away in standard business environments. The USB-C connection with an included USB-A adapter covers both modern and legacy ports.

Ultra-lightweight comfort for all-day wear

Weighing very little, the headset places minimal pressure on the head during extended sessions. A soft silicone headband and leatherette earpads provide a gentle fit that reduces fatigue over long shifts. Passive cooling from the open design and breathable materials keeps temperature build-up low without any active fans or power draw. The simple wired architecture eliminates battery management and adds no audible noise to the user environment.

Durable construction with practical in-line controls

The headband and earpad materials are chosen for daily professional use and resist wear from constant adjustment. An in-line controller features backlit buttons with distinctive shapes so users can answer, mute or adjust volume by touch without looking away from their screen. The bundled USB-C to USB-A adapter removes connectivity concerns across different workstation generations. A single-cable layout simplifies desk routing and reduces clutter in busy office setups.

Questions about this item

How do I install the headset and what step is often missed with the USB-C to USB-A adapter?

Plug the USB-C connector into the headset cable, then connect the supplied USB-C to USB-A adapter into a free USB-A port on the computer. The step people miss is seating the adapter fully so the backlit in-line controller lights up, confirming power and call-control readiness.

Which parts will need replacement after extended daily use?

The leatherette earpads and soft silicone headband cushion are the wear items; both can be swapped separately when they show cracking or loss of comfort.

What is the first limit I will hit during long, continuous calls?

The in-line controller cable length sets the practical range; if you routinely move farther from the PC than the cable allows, you will need a longer USB extension.
