Bright 7,300-lumen laser projector for large venues

The Epson PowerLite L790U delivers 7,300 lumens of equal color and white brightness using 3LCD technology. Its WUXGA resolution with 4K Enhancement produces 4.6 million pixels for detailed images. The laser light source and air filter are rated for up to 30,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. A lightweight, compact chassis simplifies installation in lecture halls, boardrooms or retail spaces.

Suits lecture halls, corporate rooms

This model fits users who need high brightness, ultra-wide 16:6 or 21:9 aspect ratios and a 500-inch maximum diagonal in 16:10. It is not for buyers who require native 4K resolution, built-in streaming apps or portable battery operation. Environments needing lens-shift flexibility beyond the fixed optic or edge-blending across multiple units should evaluate other series.

Fixed lens limits placement distance

The projector ships with a non-interchangeable lens, so throw ratio and offset are fixed. Buyers must verify that the mounting position matches the required image size before purchase. If the room geometry demands a different throw distance, a model with optional lenses is necessary.

Questions about this item

Will the 7300-lumen laser output overpower an older 1080p screen I already own?

The 7300 lumens of color and white brightness will fill a large screen, but the WUXGA resolution and 4.6 million on-screen pixels may exceed the native capability of a 1080p surface, so image sharpness will be limited by the screen.

How can I verify the 30000-hour laser light source is running at full output after installation?

Use the on-screen information menu to check the accumulated light-source hours and confirm the projector reports normal laser operation without warning icons.

Does the box include a lens for the 500-inch maximum diagonal, or must I buy one separately?

The L790U ships with a fixed lens installed, so no separate lens purchase is required to reach the 500-inch diagonal in 16:10.
