Hard hat pad 6715CT for cooling

The Ergodyne 6715CT crown pad fits inside a hard hat to provide evaporative cooling during hot work. Its advanced PVA material holds water and releases it slowly to lower skin temperature. The blue pad is designed for personal protective equipment use in demanding environments. Workers wearing hard hats for long shifts gain a simple way to stay cooler.

PVA material activates with water

Soak the pad to activate the polyvinyl alcohol cooling effect before placing it in the helmet. The lightweight fabric conforms to the crown suspension without adding bulk or restricting head movement. Re-wet as needed throughout the day to maintain the cooling benefit. It is not suited for buyers who need an integrated fan system or a phase-change pack that stays frozen for hours.

Questions about this item

How does the evaporative cooling standard work with the 6715 pad?

Soak the PVA crown pad in water; evaporation from the advanced polyvinyl alcohol material lowers the temperature against your head while you wear a hard hat.

What does the pad need to fit inside a hard hat?

The blue crown pad is shaped to sit directly on the suspension of standard hard hats; no extra straps or fasteners are required.
