Ergodyne ProFlex 500 Elbow Support

The Ergodyne ProFlex 500 is an ambidextrous elbow support designed for workers who need joint stability during repetitive tasks. Its pull-over style fits arms measuring 12 to 13 inches and uses neoprene with four-way stretch fabric to deliver uniform compression and warmth. The contoured design conforms to the body's natural shape for comfortable all-day wear.

Sustained comfort during repetitive motion

The neoprene construction maintains consistent support and warmth throughout extended shifts without stiffening or losing elasticity. Four-way stretch fabric allows full range of motion while distributing pressure evenly across the joint. This design prevents the hot spots and binding that can occur with rigid braces during continuous movement.

Pull-over sizing limits

The XL size accommodates arms from 12 to 13 inches in circumference, so workers outside this range cannot achieve the intended uniform compression. The pull-over format requires the support to slide over the hand, which may not suit users with limited wrist mobility or larger hands relative to forearm size. No adjustable straps are included to modify the fit.

Questions about this item

Does the neoprene sleeve trap heat when worn for a full shift?

The four-way stretch fabric is designed to provide warmth and uniform support, so it will retain some body heat during extended wear.

What arm measurement does the XL size actually fit?

The XL support fits elbows measuring 12 to 13 inches around the joint.

Can the ambidextrous 500 model be worn over an older rigid brace?

The pull-over, contoured neoprene design stretches over the arm, so it can layer over a slimmer existing brace if needed.
